The Battle
The two chefs prepared Bakpo Galbi and Mu Saengchae for the Black-and-White Team Battle. Throughout the cooking process, they continuously tasted and adjusted the seasoning together, showing strong teamwork and coordination. Because galbi is best served hot, they worked at a fast pace — and as a result, finished their dish faster than any other team, completing it in roughly half of the allotted time. At first glance, the dishes may have appeared simple and unassuming. However, the judges praised the exceptional harmony between the two chefs and their food. Their balance and execution stood out among all teams, earning them a victory in the round and a shared spot in the semifinals.
