Doseonjang Hoetjip (Traditional Sashimi House)
A veteran Jinhae sashimi house where the owner buys seasonal wild fish at the morning auction — a good spot to taste Korea’s coastal seasonal specialties.

Opened in Yongwon in 1972 and now run by the second generation, this long-standing hoetjip is known for its owner — nicknamed Broker No. 43 — who still goes to the morning fish auction to pick seasonal wild fish himself. You can expect a rotating, season-driven menu: spring flounder sashimi and flounder–mugwort soup, summer natural mulhoe (cold raw fish soup), autumn gizzard shad, and hearty cod stew in winter.
