A family-run Chinese restaurant in Daegu operating since 1971. The original owners Noh Sin-ja and Jang Byeong-hwa passed the kitchen to their son and daughter-in-law, Jang Hun-gyu and Jeong Hae-min, who maintain the restaurant's long-standing flavors. Signature dishes include Jung-hwa Bibimbap — pork stir-fried in pork fat with zucchini, cabbage, scallion, carrot and spices, mixed into white rice for a crunchy-and-tender, spicy-wok finish — and Baramdori , a savory seafood-and-pork broth with mussels and squid. Note: meals run in timed service slots, so you should order in advance and arrive at your reserved time.

Local Tips

  • House specialty: Jung-hwa Bibimbap — pork and mixed vegetables stir-fried in pork fat, seasoned with gochugaru and garlic, then mixed with rice
  • Casual, no-frills lunch service divided into timed slots; order ahead and arrive at your reserved time
  • Try the Baramdori Jjamppong (mussels, squid, pork) for a savory, slightly spicy broth — most mains are 9,000 KRW
