(45 reviews)Gupochon Guksu has been serving a Busan grandmother’s recipe for over 30 years. The shop offers a single noodle dish: pile on chives, danmuji (pickled radish), pumpkin, Cheongyang chili and the house seasoning to your taste, then pour a rich anchovy broth over the noodles. The broth—simmered with anchovies from Namhae—can also be poured into a cup and sipped separately for a deep, non-fishy umami.
Local Tips
- •Single-menu spot: choose your portion (Botong, Gopbaegi, Wang) and add chives, danmuji, pumpkin, Cheongyang chili and house seasoning.
- •Broth is simmered from Namhae anchovies — pour a small cup and sip it plain to appreciate its deep, clean umami.
- •Open daily until 19:00 with parking available; small neighborhood shop, so arrive before closing for the best chance of a seat.
